(231) 600-1600One house may only need a new tank on a good field. The next needs an ATU and a small bed because the old trenches are in the water table. We list them all so you can see what you are looking at.
The classic two-compartment tank and a trench drain field. Wastewater leaves the tank by gravity into gravel-and-pipe laterals. Works when you have the room, the sand or loam, and enough separation to groundwater. We pull the failed tank, size the new one to the house, and rebuild the field to current code — not a patch over a saturated trench.
Engineered module beds — compact geotextile treatment units in a shallow sand bed. Used when a full conventional field will not fit, soils are tight, or we need a smaller footprint on a lake lot. Same tank up front. A smaller, treated field after. We install, cover, and leave you a drawing of every lateral.
When the native soil is too thin, too tight, or the water table is too high for a trench, we build the treatment sand above grade. A pump sends effluent into a raised bed. Common on clay, on low lots, and near the bay. We shape it, seed it, and it reads as a berm — not a construction scar.
Pressure distribution, sand filters, drip irrigation, and other permitted designs when gravity or a simple mound will not pass. Pump chamber, control panel, laterals on a timer. We work with the sanitarian and the engineer so the permit matches the dirt on your lot — not a generic plan.
Use oxygen to speed up breakdown of solids; often paired with a drain field. A blower keeps the tank aerobic so the effluent leaving for the field is cleaner than a standard septic. Smaller fields, poor soils, and sensitive sites near water. We set the tanks, the blower housing, the alarm, and the field — and we show you how to keep the blower running.
