Steel shafts with helical plates, screwed to bearing depth. No waiting on concrete to cure in October.
- Peat, fill, and high water table around the lakes will not hold a spread footing. Piers go past the junk soil to something that will.
- We use them under new SIP cabins, failing additions, leaning porches, and cottages that settled after a wet spring.
- Sized to the load and the soil log — not a one-diameter kit from a truck. Brackets tie into the existing footing or grade beam.
- Can be installed in tight side yards where a full excavation would take the neighbor’s hedge and half the driveway.
Concrete slab lifting
Sunken garage slabs, walkways, and porch pads. We lift them with injected polyurethane — not a yard of muddy slurry.
- Holes the size of a dime. Foam expands, fills voids, and raises the slab. You can drive on it the same day.
- Better than mudjacking on a northern slab: the foam does not wash out the first time the sump runs, and it does not add a ton of water under the house.
- We lift, then look at why it sank — broken drain, poor fill, a downspout dumping at the corner — and fix that too.
Foundation repair
Cracked walls, bowing block, wet footing, a house that is not sitting where it was poured.
- Assessment first: elevation shots, crack mapping, where the water is coming from. Free inspection.
- Stabilization with piers or wall anchors when the soil has moved. Rebuild of the section that failed when it has to come out.
- Waterproofing and drainage are part of the repair. A dry wall that still sits in a puddle will move again.
- Licensed rebuild if the basement finish, stairs, or bearing walls have to come apart. Same company that sets the piers paints the room.
